Abstract

This article is a bibliographic review, which aims to inform about security in multiplayer games, reporting on cheats and cheating software that provide advantages to opponents, one of the biggest problems that users of online games face, and anti-cheat software, which aims to detect cheats in multiplayer online games. In this context, the article explores the advantages and disadvantages caused by these softwares and the study about an anti-cheat created for an online game that has been causing damage to some of its users.
