A look at Artificial Intelligence, the Internet of Things and the Technologies of the Future

Abstract

Recent advances in the Artificial Intelligence field, where new applications using machine learning concepts are often appearing, are making our everyday life to change. Thus, this article describes the development of an application that uses Artificial Intelligence Techniques, Image Processing and Computer Vision, to recognize if there is or not a specimen of Siamese cat in a given image. In this vein, this paper shows how we can use methods for image segmentation, extraction of characteristics, and classification for Siamese cats recognition.
