BLOCKCHAIN AS A TRANSPARENCY FACTOR
Keywords:
Transparência, Blockchain, SDGAbstract
Bringing discussions about blockchain as a tool for increased security and transparency of institutions can aid in the implementation of SDG 16. The lack of transparency in both public and private institutions results in fraud and even tarnishes the organization's reputation. The purpose of this study was to understand how the implementation of blockchain can contribute to the growth of organizations. Data regarding the knowledge of the surveyed population on the subject were collected through an online form, which were later transformed into graphs and analyzed, resulting in a report. The findings indicate that although a significant portion of the surveyed population has knowledge about the technologies in question, this knowledge is superficial, and it is a point that should be considered when discussing the potential implementation of blockchain in institutions. There is a possibility of implementing the issues raised in this study, but it is necessary for the topic to be further debated.
